Bringing Joy through Monthly Outings

Over the past few months, Age Concern Liphook has been delighted to organise a series of monthly outings for our clients — simple, enjoyable trips designed to bring people together, offer a change of scenery, and create moments of connection.

Each month, we invite our clients to choose where they’d like to go. Their preferences guide everything, and unsurprisingly, the favourites have been wonderfully comforting places: garden centres full of colour and calm, and local eateries where everyone can relax over a warm drink or a shared meal.

These outings are more than just trips. They’re opportunities for conversation, companionship, and a sense of independence. Whether it’s browsing plants, enjoying a slice of cake, or simply chatting with familiar faces, each outing offers something meaningful.

We’ve seen how much these small adventures brighten the day — and how they help strengthen the sense of community that sits at the heart of Age Concern Liphook.
